hello!

So basically everyday is the same… just knocking on doors trying to find people that are interested in hearing our message. This week though we did have a really funny experience..
So we’ve had a hard time entering into houses and teaching so we were trying to think of things to do to help people feel more comfortable with us. One of our ideas was to sing a hymn for them like Christmas caroling. At first we didn’t have a tactic so we just talked and they rejected us then it was just awkward to sing after. So we thought to just say we are missionaries can we sing for you? But this didn’t go over too well either. So finally we thought to say that had a present for them. The first house we tried backfired and they thought we wanted a present. So we moved on to another house. There was an old lady out front. We told her we were missionaries and we had a present for her. She told us we could talk… so we started to sing but the fact that we finally got to this point after a week of trying was to much of a shock. We both burst into uncontrollable laughter. I don’t think she realized that we were laughing. She said awe poor girls the sun has affected your voices. Please come in. Which made us laugh harder. Finally, after a minute we were able to control ourselves and we ended up having a nice little chat with her and sang a hymn. We will be visiting her this week. So I think it was a success 🙂 haha

Hope this story brightened your day a little. Remember that Heavenly Father loves you. Always smile!

I have transfers next week, I wont be transfered because I just got here. But pday will be on Wednesday all the same.

Happy Mothers day on Sunday!

Love you all!
